Volunteer

Thank you for your interest in volunteering for My Bucket List Foundation. Our mission is to provide luxury vacations for families who have suffered a tragic loss. This would not be possible without the help and resources of our volunteers. We currently have the following opportunities available:

GRANT WRITER: Some grants are very difficult, technical & long. Some are just 10-20 minutes of on-line questions.

PROMOTER: Start with looking up local television stations, sending an email & introduce the station to our website & upcoming events. Stations always have time to announce charity fundraising activities.

Do the same with local radio, newspapers & other media outlets.

Research companies, reach out to them, introducing them to our website (raffle). Trying to sell owners on the opportunity to purchase $100.00 – $500.00 worth of ticket for each of their employees. Another way to promote would be to ask individual companies to post our link, on their website or in their business locations, in company emails & allow employees the opportunity the option to buy their own tickets. Companies have employee matching donations. So if a company “X” employee buys $100.00 worth of tickets, company “X” matches their donation. Employers could purchase any # of tickets to use as an incentive program, employee of the month. Salesman of the week. Start by reaching out to companies of family & friends place of work. A strong career ability would be able to not accept “NO” as a final answer. Being able to use a “hard sell” (guilt trip). For example, telling company “X” owner “how would you feel if it was your child? How Just a $20.00 donation can help families dealing with the most traumatic emotion life has to offer.

Every company & individual that donates, get to post a link to our “donor” page. Either social media links or promotional website link of your own. Corporate websites.

Our company will provide all individuals their own company profile page, on our charity web site. This shows your commitment to doing charity work. That always looks good on a resume. You will be able to put any info you want on this profile page. Like resumes, info that would go on a resume if you could make it longer. Other things that you want to brag about, other charity work, personal things or just professional. You can put your social media links (approved content pending). This link will allow for us to link the URLs to companies & individuals promoted by you, to you.

Go to festivals & big gatherings where booths are set up & just display the laptop & introduce people to the site, they can then turn around & order tickets from their own phone.

I have taken a course of finding sponsors & celebrity endorsements. Looking into in what way any celebrity can help to help promote & partner with our charity. Either asking for an autographed piece of memorabilia, a public endorsement. An appearance at a fundraiser, what it would take to have celebrity “X” make an appearance.

FUNDRAISERS: Organizing a banquet, invite a local professional ball team, usually upon request, ball club organizations will support by sending several players, cheerleaders & usually the mascot. Alert the media so that the news stations cover the event, subsequently promoting our website (raffle). Sell tables for a donation of (+/- $10,000.00). Banquet at a nice hotel, accommodations are generally easy to help college students, hosting such a majestic event.  Another idea is to solicit collectable memorabilia from professional ball teams & hold an auction.

CONCIERGE: You will be responsible for the health & safety of entire families. You must have a clean driver’s license. Responsibilities will include, but not limited to: cook, clean, babysit, inventory control on a weekly basis and teach beneficiaries’ to use jet skis, drive ATV’s. must be mature & responsible. You must have the highest quality of customer service & relations. Grocery shopping.
