Currently now the age of 88 years old, a retired bio chemist and former World War II Veteran, Joe has contributed to the biological and chemistry industry by developing “Sodium Ciliate” (all patented), and saved his former employer’s company over $4,000,000 a year. Joe knows all too well about aiding loved ones with life-threatening medical conditions. He has been married for 54 years to “Roselyn Becker”, his wife who has been bedridden for over 16 years. Since his wife’s bed-ridden state, Joe has been by her bedside 24/7, taking care of her day & night.

Mary Lohr is a Social Work Student in her late 20’s completing her first bachelor’s degree at a State College. Previous to going back to school, she worked as a journalist on the American volunteer grassroots efforts and philanthropy front.  She also has extensive education in Psychology and Religion.  Her pursuit is still current in looking for a career that is just right.  However, after giving up her original dream to be a Veterinarian at age 16, she has enjoyed learning every avenue of study that concerns helping people. While she waits to live in a perfect world, she looks forward to learning more and hopes to meet the demands of this internship to the best of her ability.
